TriviaEdit

  • The Grass-types are tied with the Rock-types for the most weaknesses, five, being Bug, Flying, Ice, Fire and Poison. Coincidentally, Pock-type moves are super effective agianst all of the Grass-type's weaknesses except for Poison.
  • The Grass-type has been paired with every type that it is super effective against.
    • Grass has been piared with 14 out of the 17 types, the only ones left out being Fire, Ghost and Dragon.
  • All Pokémon that have seven weaknesses are partially of the Grass-type.
  • There is at least one Pokémon in each type combonation that has x4 weakness to Grass.
    • For example, Omanyte is Water/Rock, Wiscash is Water/Ground, and there are several Rock/Ground combos.
      • Ths trait is shared with the Water-types, Flying-types, and Pshychic-types.
  • Grass-types are the only starter type that doesn't have a varitaion of Eruption.
    • Fire has Eruption, while Water has Water Spout.
  • The Grass-type is the one that is resisted by the most types. Dragon, Bug, Flying, Steel, Fire, Poison, and Grass.
  • The Paras family Pokémon are the only ones that aren't at least somewhat green. This mioght be because they are based off of fungi, rather than plants.
  • The Grass-types are the ones that have the most Pokémon that evolve by using stones, 11. They can also utilize the most stones, Leaf Stone, Sun Stone, Water Stone, and Shiny Stone.
